Senior Management

José G. Taylor Coker
First Vice President and General Manager

He graduated from Nova University and studied in Boston and participated in various international training programs for executives. He began his professional career working as an auditor of the banking industry at KPMG in 1980. Between 1984 and 1987, he held positions in The Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation as well as BankBoston. In 1987, he joined The Chase Manhattan Bank as the Financial Manager of Consumer Banking and held various positions including Vice President of Marketing until 1997. In 1997 he joined Banistmo and during his stay, until Banistmo was acquired by HSBC, held different positions including Executive Manager of Consumer Banking, Vice President of Sales and Distribution and Senior Vice President in charge of all consumer products, both in terms of loans and fundraising. He joins the MULTIBANK family in September 2008 as First Vice President of Consumer Banking.

Hans Kupfer
Vice President and Deputy to the General Manager

He has over 35 years of banking and management experience. He began his professional career in 1979 and worked with several banking institutions such as Banco Latinoamericano de Exportaciones, S. A., Citibank N.A. (Panama) in 1981, Citibank Aktiengesellschaft (Germany) in 1991. Later, in 1997 (in Panama) he joined Primer Banco del Istmo and Banistmo Group as the Senior Vice President of the Finance and Planning Portfolio. In 2006, he joined HSBC as Vice President of the Group of Financial Institutions. From 2011 to 2015, he worked for Empresa Nacional de Autopista (ENA) where he served first as Administrative and Financial Manager and later also as Interim General Manager. He joins the banking sector again in 2015 at Banco Ficohsa, where he served as Vice President of Administration, Budget Control & Finance. Joined MULTIBANK from March 2017.

Santiago Duque
Senior Vice President of Operational Support

He holds a Lcentiate (Bachelor) in Business Administration from Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua, and a Master's degree in Industrial Administration from the University of Dallas, Irving, Texas, U.S.A. He has an extensive banking experience, beginning in 1972 as Credit Analyst with Banco Fiduciario de Panamá, S.A. In his professional experience he has held different executive positions, Head of Loans in Unión de Bancos (1974-1975), Manager of the Los Angeles Branch of Banco de Colombia (1978-1979), Manager of the Transistmica Branch of Banco Exterior de España (1979-1982), Commercial Credit Officer at The Chase Manhattan Bank NA (1982-1983), Deputy General Manager and Vice President of Operations at Banco de Latinoamérica, S.A. (Bancolat) (1983-2002), Vice President of Risk and Finance, Vice President of Operations, Vice President and General Manager at Stanford Bank (Panama), S.A., renamed later as Balboa Bank & Trust, S. A. after the reorganization (2003-2010), General Manager at Banco Ficohsa (Panamá), S.A. (2010-2016). Joined MULTIBANK in January 2017.

Delia Chin
Senior Vicepresident of Finance

She holds an MBA with major Finance from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, a Master in Taxation and Fiscal Management form UNESCPA and a Licentiate (Bachelo) in Accounting from Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua. She has more than 20 years of experience in the banking area as an auditor and controller. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Colegio de CPA de Panama. She has served as Senior Auditor of KPMG, a public accounting firm, Financial Control Manager of Banco de Latinoamérica, S.A. (Bancolat) and Assistant Vice President of Finance of Banco Continental, S.A. She joined MULTIBANK in August 2004 as Profitability Manager.

Priscilla Pinzón
Vice President of Consumer Banking

Licentiate (Bachelor) in Banking and Finance, degree obtained at the Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua. She has a long banking history, started in 1981 in formerly Primer Banco de Ahorros, currently Banistmo, institution in which she held various positions, among which, was Branch Manager. In 1995, she joined Banco Comercial de Panamá, S.A., which was merged into Banco General, S.A., where she served as Branch Manager. Later, in 1999, she joined Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria S.A. -Panama (BBVA) under this same position. Subsequently, in 2009, she joined Banco Nacional de Panamá, as the Executive Manager of Consumer Banking. She joins the MULTIBANK family in February 2016.

Eric Calderón
Vice President of Corporate Banking

With a Licentiate (Bachelor) in Economics from Universidad de Panama, has more than 20 years of experience in the banking sector, working in both local and international banks. He has held positions at the managerial level in the areas of Risk Management and Corporate Business. In the area of Risks, he has been responsible for the management and control of credit risk in the commercial portfolio of important banks in the market. He has had an active participation in the Due Diligence team in the acquisition of banks in Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador and Panama; with the responsibility of evaluating the quality of the commercial portfolio of the prospects. In corporate business, has been responsible for the administration and generation of business in the segments of the Colon Free Zone, real estate, retail, fishing and services. He joined MULTIBANK in November 2007 as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Banking.

Milciades Denis
Vice President of Treasury and Investments

He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Louisiana State University, Louisiana, USA. He began his professional career in 1986 at the Comisión de Desarrollo de Colón (CODECO) in the position of Economist. In 1987 he began his banking career when he joined Banco Latinoamericano de Exportaciones, S.A. (BLADEX), where he held the position of economist. In 1989, he was appointed Chief Treasurer until January 2011. He joined MULTIBANK in December 2011.

Omar Díaz
Vice President of International Banking

Has a Licentiate (Bachelor) in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua, and an MBA with major in Finance from Lindenwood University, Missouri, U.S.A. Began his professional career in 1995 as Analyst of Investments Projects with Autoridad de la Región Interoceánica (ARI). Subsequently, in 1998 he entered Banco del Istmo, S.A., currently Banistmo, in various positions, among them: Corporate Banking Credit Officer, Deputy Manager of Financial Control - Commercial Banking and Deputy Manager of Corporate Banking. In 2006, he joined Multi Credit Bank as Corporate Banking Manager and, in 2007, he was appointed Assistant Vice President of Corporate Banking. In 2012, he joined Citibank, occupying the position of Vice President of Commercial Banking. In 2015, he joined Capital Bank with the position of Executive Vice President - Corporate Banking Division. He joins the MULTIBANK family in January 2016.

Víctor Mojica Caballero
Vice President of Wealth Management

He is an authorized public accountant and professional financier with more than 20 years of experience and recognized trajectory in different local and international financial institutions in Panama. He began his career in 1995 as an accountant at K & W a general contractor of the former Panama Canal Zone. In 1998 he joined the Latin American Export Bank (BLADEX), where he held various positions specializing in treasury management and capital markets. He has served in several financial institutions, including Banco Continental de Panamá, Multi Credit Bank and Unibank where he held the positions of Treasury Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager, more recently at UBS, AG Wealth Management, he held the position of director, advising institutional clients and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) in the region. He holds an Executive MBA with emphasis in Banking from the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE) and an MBA and Bachelor in Accounting from Santa Maria La Antigua University (USMA). He is an active member of Rotary International in Panama (president during the period 2010-2011), is director of the Panamanian Association for the Assistance of the Burned Child (APANIQUEM) and since 2010 he is a Member of the National Steering Committee of the Small Grants Program of the Global Environmental Fund of the United Nations (GEF-PPD-UNDP).

Teresita Soto
General Manager of Multibank Seguros, S. A.

She has a Certificate in Finance from Stetson Univewrsity, Florida, U.S.A., and a Certificate of Risk Selector from Asociación de Seleccionadores de Riesgos de Seguro de Personas AC, México, D. F. (Association of Risk Selectors of People Insurance, in Mexico, D.F.). She has about 30 years of experience in the insurance sector beginning with the health area from 1988 to 1993 with Metropolitana de Seguros, S. A. From 1993-1997 she was transferred to ASSA Compañía de Seguros, S. A. when it acquired Metropolitana. Subsequently, in 1998 she moved to the Grupo Mundial (Aseguradora Mundial, S. A.), where she held different positions, the last one being Vice President of the Regional Unit of Life and Health - Business Development. After a short period as an Advisor at ACHBECC Consultores, she joined Multibank Seguros, S. A. in September 2010.

Jose Paul Rodríguez
Vice President of Risk Management

He graduated from Universidad Santa Maria, Caracas, Venezuela and also is a Specialist in Financial Institutions, a degree obtained from Universidad Andrés Bello, from the same country. He has built a solid banking career since he joined BBVA Banco Provincial. He began as a financial analyst and due to his high performance was promoted to other positions such as: Director of Risk in 1996, Senior Risk Executive in 1998, Director of Regulatory Compliance in 2003. In 2008 he was Director of Operational Risk and Internal Control and in 2009 he was the Risk Director of Wholesale Companies. He joined the MULTIBANK family in May 2011.

Mitzi Medina
Vice President of Compliance

She studied Administration with an emphasis in Finance at Universidad Latina de Panamá. With an extensive professional career that began in 1981, working for various enterprises such as The Panama Canal Commission, Industrias Primas Panamá, Data World International, among others. But it was in 1991 that her banking career began, at Citibank where she held various positions such as: General Services Supervisor, Network Security Administrator, Senior Compliance Officer. In 2005 she was transferred to Santiago de Chile as Compliance Officer for Citigroup Private Bank (CPB) and International Personal Bank (IPB). In 2007, she returned to Panama and joined PROCESA (First Data U.S.A), in the position of Quality Control and Compliance. Returns in 2008 to Citibank Panama as Compliance Officer for Consumer Banking. Then, in 2009, she became part of Arias, Fábrega & Fábrega as Head of Compliance. In 2011, she joined Banco Panameño de la Vivienda, S.A. (Banvivienda) as Corporate Vice President of Compliance. Joins the MULTIBANK family in May 2016.

Alvin Barnett
Vice President of Audit

He has 34 years of experience, serving in Caja de Ahorros (1982-1999) in positions as an analyst of Management Internal Control, Audit Manager, chief operating of loans and Deputy Manager of organization and methods; BNP Paribas (1999-2002) Audit Department internal; Banco Continental de Panama (2002-2007) in the position of Deputy Manager of financial audit and operational, and Banco Latinoamericano of export - BLADEX (2007-2009) of Assistant Vice President of internal audit. He has a degree in accounting and counter public approved of the University of Panama (1988), graduate of systems audit of the technological University of Panama. It has three international certifications, such as; Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), Certified Control Self Assessment (CCSA). He was President of the Institute of internal auditors of Panama in two periods and several as Director, Member of the College of public accountants and facilitator of the diploma of internal audit for the CIA certification. He joined MULTIBANK in December 2009 as Assistant Vice President of internal audit.

Juan Luis Toledo
Vice President of Human Development

He has a Licentiate (Bachelor) in Business Administration from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. Is a professional with more than 30 years of experience in development and implementation of Human Management processes; 15 of them in PEQUIVEN, a subsidiary of Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), where he held various positions in Human Resources, the last one being Human Resources and Services Manager at the Morón Petrochemical Complex, State of Carabobo, Venezuela. Later, he was responsible as Corporate Human Resources Manager for the development and implementation of Human Resources processes in the 10 countries where the LAFISE Group has a presence, with operating headquarters in Nicaragua. He joined MULTIBANK in December 2008 as Vice President of Human Development and Administration.

Enrique Guadamuz
Vice President of Operational Platform

He has a Licentiate (Bachelor) in Accounting from Universidad de Panamá, and a postgraduate and Master's in Management and Technology of Knowledge from Universidad Carlos III, Madrid, Spain. He has an extensive professional experience, starting his banking career in 1982 at Primer Banco de Ahorro, currently Banistmo after several mergers, occupying various positions, among them: Deputy Manager of Technology. In 1994, he created his own company, Administradora de Software, S.A. where he served as Executive Director. Subsequently, in 2009 he joined Banco Nacional de Panamá as the Executive Manager of Technological Innovation, a position that he held prior to joining MULTIBANK in January 2016.
